About Lumière International Conference 2016: Stem Cell Technology

The word lumière comes from French, which means light, gleam, glow; we want this conference to shed a light for younger generations on the current developments in
life sciences, ones that they will encounter and work with in the future. We also want to spark their excitement to help push innovation and development in life sciences. In order to do this, we need diversity in perspective, which is why we accommodate multinational audience and make this an international conference.

 

We choose Stem-Cell Technology as this year’s theme because we see a lot of potential and benefits in medical field and commercial use. Seeing as it is still growing and the knowledge of it is being expanded each day, we feel the need for younger generation to understand and criticize how they can utilize this in their field.

 

Lumière focuses on life sciences, art, and international relationship in the form of competitions, conferences,
and a closing ceremony. By integrating these three aspects, we wish to provide the participant a prestigious access to:
